Default Will Gibson and Gardner both start?

    Providing they both sign?
    Cattermole to make way perhaps?
    What do we reckon?

No direct competition for a starting place IMO the way it should be,strength and depth in our squad for once.

I also believe cattermole will make way and leave. Question is, is it a bad thing?

I'm struggling to think of how they'll both fit into the same team. I can't see them working in a 4 man midfield and if we play a central three where do the likes of Larsson and Sessegnon fit in? Is Bruce planning on playing Sess at the left of a front three.

I can't remember the last time we had actual competition for centre midfield. In recent years it has been cattermole and Cana/Henderson nailed on if fit.

Left to right: Sessegnon - Gardner - Cattermole - Larsson.

Or, left to right: Steed - Gardner - Cattermole - Larsson.

    . Sessegnon
    . Gyan.

Sessegnon (or Steed) tucked in behind in a 4-5-1/4-4-1-1 with Gardener/Colback/Meyeler/Catts/Gibson in the middle.

Desperately need some cover on the left. Now, who can we think of......?

Wouldnt be bothered to see catts leave for a decent fee, but I think he will be here next season, and if he can stay fit he will do a good job.
