Hard to imagine O'Neill would stifle Colback's progress to give Meyler a few games.

2 games in 3 days will likely mean there'll be changes and it looks like Meyler will get his chance. Why not

True. But we already have four fit central midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order, I don't see him getting much game time if I'm honest.

Neither did I until reading the Journal this morning... time will tell but I certainly think he's good enough

MON may be looking for potential combinations. I like Meyler and wouldn't mind seeing him and Colback together.
