Attendance Perspective
SAFC are currently averaging a very respectable 38,585. Considering the very poor start to the season under Bruce, as well as being located in one of the hardest hit areas during this global recession, i think this is a fantastic effort and i take my hat off to every one of you who has attended.
Our Black and White friends enjoy reminding us at every opportunity, at the merest sight of an empty seat, that our crowds are poor. Well it is time for perspective!
I have listed below, the 'minnows' of Europe, currently averaging below our superb 38,585;
Inter Milan
Juventus
Roma
Lazio
Everton
Aston Villa
PSV Eindhoven
Sevilla
Lyon
Sporting Lisbon
Porto
Obviously, there is still the potential for more, if we maintain the improvement, our crowds will grow, when the economy improves our crowds will grow...
Respect where it is due!

We're not averaging more than Inter Milan, and most teams on there probably don't have stadiums big enough to hold more fans than we get, yet probably do have the fanbase to hold more, much like Arsenal and Highbury.

After 16 games played, Inter are averaging 36,731..Link;

Only PSV out of the clubs on that list, has a ground capacity less than our current 38,585.
