A 2-2 draw at Man City in FA Cup Round 5.
It was the day that we started believing something special was possible.

There were thousands of our fans at Maine Road - anyone off here there?

Wasn't there but I've been told by people who were there that there wasn't that many and the away section didn't fill up until the Man Utd fans came in as their game was called. off

Was at the replay like and rushed back to watch it on Sportsnight With Coleman.
Never knew till years later that it was only filmed in black and white as we only had B&W TV.

The first match was in colour for some reason.

It was actually shown on ITV with Gerald Sinstadt as the commentator. He was the North West's equivalent of George Taylor at that time.

The match was filmed in black and white as Tyne-Tees' cameras weren't up to the job

Actually yes I was wrong, the replay can't have been on Sportsnight as that was BBC and Sinstadt commentated on the replay too.
