PL Fans anger at possible relegation...
Why are fans of teams threatened with relegation going ballistic. Sunlun, Wolves, Blackburn, Bolton fans are going potty with the threat of relegation. I can understand that fans think if relegated they will forever be out of the land of milk and honey that is the PL. However I think fans should be just as angry if not more when their team gets dumped out of say th FA Cup when they lose at home to much lower opposition like we did against Notts Co. I was very very angry with that performance. This was a chance to win something and they went out with a disgraceful performance. We should have gone crazy at Bruce. Blackburn have no devine right to stay in the PL. 3 teams will go down this year and I can see it getting very nasty towards seasons end if fans see their team going near the dreaded drop. However will they react the same if some lower league team dump them out of the FA Cup???

Philosophical theory....profound some might say.
Just want to stay in the top league to be honest...look at Leeds, Sheffield teams and Forest. Birmingham now struggling...
There is your answer.

Re: PL Fans anger at possible relegation...
Poor thread tbh ........... people would just prefer to stay in the PL and win the cup.
Hardly shocking news is it

Why care about football at all? In fact, why care about anything? All life is meaningless, we happen to be alive but we might as well be dead, nothing we do has any value. It would be better if we were dead.
I think that's the logical conclusion you're going to arrive at soon.

I think you'll find most Sunderland fans were angry with 3 wins since 1st of January at the SOL and a manager that was clueless.

Because a lot of fans aren't loyal enough to watch their team in a lower league? Not sure who teams like Blackburn and Bolton think they are. Crap support and lucky to be in the Premier League

Simple, the premiership brings revenue and enables success in other competitions. The fa cup doesn't do anything except give you the lime light for a week.
Also, you will get another crack at the fa cup the next season regardless. If relegated, god only knows how long it will take you to get back in the top flight.

Because an awful lot of people believe the crap spouted out by Sky that relegation is equivalent to the death of a loved one

This, total hype.
Re the poster above, being in the Prem gives you nothing except the chance to stay on the never ending treadmill of striving to achieve fuck all and achieving fuck all.
14 clubs are just counting time til the next relegation and when it comes life goes on.
