Went down to go to 'The deep'

Brilliant day out and would recommend to anyone but what struck me most is fucking Hull!!!!

When we got passed the bridge and the trading estate into the city I was aghast at the level of poverty and filth.

As a kid my grandparents lived in South Durham court flats down east and I used to watch the goings on in the Garths this place is just like it now.

It's Hendon in the 80s Hull.

There are obviously people there with money because I spent a number of nights last year on holiday with a couple from there and my wife.

I warn you, never ever go to the shitstain on this country that is Hull.

Disgusting and should be levelled.

I was brought up in Peterlee/Easington and don't mind going for a pint there because I know I will bump into someone I know and have a catch up.

Would you honestly sell Hull to someone who is thinking of relocating?

Was born in Sunderland, lived there, moved to Hull and worked there. Now live on the outskirts of the city.

I'm probably one of the few on here who can state an opinion. Believe me Sunderland has a lot less going for it than Hull....

The city centre's for a start are incomparable.

Sadly, Sunderland becomes a bigger shithole with each successive visit.

Hull is hardly the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, but there's a shitload more happening in Hull than in Sunderland and Shields combined.

Agree, but when I stated the same it came back with utter disbelief. Its just to easy to label Hull a shit hole..

Hull is a shit hole and the people all seem to be in-bred.

The only redeeming feature is that on average it is 1 metre below sea level so it should disappear some time in the near future
