    Default Bobby Zamora

Why are we bothering with him in the team tonight?

He'll be 31 year old when Euro 2012 comes round and he's had a less than remarkable career, even more so over the recent few months

Welbeck and Sturridge are in the squad, there's 2 strikers who should be in the team ahead of him, Bent makes it 3 if you include regulars

I would argue Carroll would be more use in the squad before Zamora aswell

he plays for a big London club, hasn't had enough chances to prove himself yet ! pointless game would be good if he picked up a knock to keep hom out for the wkd

Probably because he's a different option and we've got plenty of players who play on the shoulder, but few who can play with their backs to goal and bring people into play if Rooneys is out.

Hardly matters if he's 31 come next summer. He won't be playing in the next WC no but he's hardly geriatric, and he's got experience and offers something different. He's a resource, may as well use him, that's what friendlies are for.

He scores less goals than Heskey FFS.
Half a decent season a couple of years ago , after endless seasons of , even his own fans singing derogatory songs about him .
If he's the best we can do , it'll be years more of international dissapointment.

I doubt Fulham fans have been singing derogatory songs about him

I doubt they've been singing any at all, apart from "Cam on Fulham"
