James Beatties probably our best bet...didn't do that badly at Stoke if I recall correctly. Didn't get a chance at Blackpool or Rangers. Could be good for the dressing room...

Is it not the case that you can only amend your 25 man squad during the transfer window? Cant be certain because I havent played Football Manager for a few months, but I thought that was the case? Right enough it wouldnt make sense what with them allowing free transfers to try and get lads into a club, be a bit pointless if they then turned round and said "well you can sign for them, but we wont let them register you until January", so maybe I'm wrong
