    Default Anton Ferdinand's "injuries"

Does Anton Ferdinand ever limp off/bottle it* when we're winning?

    (*delete as applicable)

He was holding his hamstring & looked to be feeling it after the 'strong' shoulder-barge on Scharner. Could have closed down quicker for their 2nd & 3rd IMO. Injury may have played it's part, whether he would fain injury, idk?

I do think he has the potential to be pretty good but has never realised that potential fully. Has pace, strength, athletic, tall, but always looks too laid back / running at 60%.

My view anarl. It's beneath him to look hurried.

agree with all, bet his Bently moves a bit quicker, living on his brothers reputation and was a good prospect at W Ham but has not improved at all

Why, he put in his best performances for us over the first half of the season and then started picking up knocks and having to play with injuries.
    MOTM several times this season.

He can't get a run of games though, too injury prone. He's a decent player but I'm beginning to feel we should move him on.

I don't , Anton had a run in with the manager and proved it on the pitch, it's not his fault we don't have the back up we should but then when you look at the squad we had then i can't blame Brucey for shipping them out.
We always knew we had to get through this one to progress and Anton is a decent player and a great squad player.
Hewas never going to be Rio but then again he's not McShane.

I'm not questioning his ability, nor his value to us at present, more the fact that I can't see him developing on as he's continually hampered by niggly injuries.

Has anyone ever seen him sprint? You know, like when the opposition are breaking quickly?

And that's before we even get into concentration/injuries. I used to think there was a footballer in there, but I'm sick of making excuses for the lad - he just hasn't got it.
