Seriously though, I know you will all say I am talking utter shite by having the spite to suddenly accept as the status quo whatever is the opposite of whatever my point is, but I have to say it ain't just the fact he swore that botheres me.
It is the fact it is a professional Premier League football player, and one of it's top stars to boot, and one of this county's most idolised amongst kids. I wonder how many kids would say 'Wayne Rooney' if asked "Who do you most want to be like?" In every way he ought to be way above that sort of thing. And for me he not only offended so many people but also let them down and dissapointed them.
And what is more, I know you will all say "he was fired up" and will agree, but I felt he was totally ignorant of the fact kids would be watching at home and in the front row at Upton Park.
