... With regards to transfers? It's probably just because I have a vested interest in them but we seem to take an eternity to sort incomings.

Other teams seem to have a rumour on Ssn in the morning and then parade the player on the afternoon.

This has nothing to do with the striker hunt, I posted last week that we are desperate for midfielders and now another match has come and still nowt. We have known about being short in this area since September!

I know there is time left but I'd rather have them in for some of our easier, on paper, matches.

I'm fully aware it depends on the selling club as well but I'm convinced the work experience lad must do our paperwork.

This is probably because we don't follow every single detail of other clubs' moves for players. I reckon nothing is straightforward.

I think its because we spend ages trying to get everyone on loan first.

I think the news that we sold Bent for 18-24 million may have the selling clubs trying to rape us like Rennes did over Gyan

Quick and correct answer is no. We've been lucky to escape some horrific panic buys though. Mido/Nugent and theres another lucky escape i cant quite think of but in the Premier League now.
