Default Shittest Boozers of the United Kingdom

    I'll start:

John Smiths so watered down that the water actually settled in a discrete layer at the bottom of the glass!!!

Yell around the other side is even worse, but both pubs you have to go into once (only once) to experience the worst of Newcastle charvadom.

    Name and shame then folks!!!

The beer in the Old Blue Last near Old Street in London is some of the worst I've ever had. And by my lights if your beer is shocking, you're a shocking boozer, however 'iconic' you are.

    EDIT:

    Here's shite as well:

The Old Queen's Head, Islington. Full of wankers, beer selection shocking and identikit trendy.

The Silver Dollar in Washington Galleries.

So shit it has now been closed for 10-15 years and is now a bank/building society.

    I'll add four more candidates.

Foster's Lodge / Corner House - Annfield Plain (very strange characters got in there - poor selection of beer)

Crown and Thistle / Bob Bells - Catchgate (see above)

The Fighting Cock - Durham (rough as hell, Fight Club on a bad night, only one still open and one redeeming feature is that it served a decent pint of Kilkennys)

Coach and Eight - Durham (always broken glass, seemed to be a sport of rolling glasses across floor to see who stepped on them, crap beer)
