Gordon vs Mignolet

what happens now then?

have two quality keepers on the books, does Gordon go straight back into the team or do we reckon Bruce will leave Mignolet in. deserves it tbf.

Mignolet should keep it until Bruce thinks Gordon is ready. At least we don't have to rush Gordon back

Had to be where he was due to McShane and Owen being in the centre of the goal - had he just followed the path of the ball he'd have presented Owen with an open goal should he have connected with it, but both Owen and McShane swung and missed. Not his fault at all.

There's been one or two others where you could ask if he could have done better - one or two deflections, but off the top of my head I can't recall a major error.

*though an FA cup game last year rings a bell, confusion in defence or something.

Gordon is an outstanding keeper, the best Scotland has produced in over 40 years. Mignolet has the potential to be as good and is likely to win a huge number of caps for his country as well.

I'd keep the Belgian between the sticks until such time as there is a good reason to replace him. It would be mad to punish someone for producing consistently good displays.

This. The young lad has done great, but gordon is still the better keeper and first choice.
