    Default MackemEnemy Junior?

Whatever happened to him? I remember watching the youth team play in the 80's in Sheffield. He 'watched' the whole of the match from his BMW with a lass inside and at half time got out and really berated the team!

Is he still in the game or has nepotism died out?

I may be wrong but didn't he end up at Newcastle in the late eighties?

Chris Macmenemy? Pretty sure he was still coaching at SAFC a few years after his old man left.

    He's an agent now.

Pretty sure he had something to do with Chesterfield, him and his wife went to see my mam who was a head mistress at a local infant and nursary school, about there little one joining, however he had another job offer and they left.

Used to live in Chester-le-Street, next door to Paul Butler when he played for us. McMenemy was the agent of Stan Varga (when he was he first time around) amongst others. Me mate lived the other side of Butler and said McMenemy was a cracking bloke, really down to earth. Would often hold bbq's with Varga and other players present but would invite the neighbours as well, just an ordinary bloke really.
Apparently Butler was just a right scruffy twat, his house just had empty and half-eaten McDonalds/BurgerKing boxes just strewn around the house with half-eaten rotten bits left in.

Just looked up what Butler is upto now. From Wiki :

"Butler made his only appearance for the Republic of Ireland (for whom he qualified via his Irish wife), in a friendly against the Czech Republic on 23 February 2000. He was pitted against the big Czech striker Jan Koller, but by half-time Ireland were 2-0 down thanks to two Koller goals. Butler was substituted at half-time and Ireland went on to win the game 3-2. Butler's international career is generally referred to in derisive terms by Irish supporters and he is often nominated in fans "worst ever Ireland XI's"
