Vhs to DVD machine

My dads after a device to convert his old vhs tapes onto dvd. Anyone on here got 1 or recommend best 1 to get?

I did it by plugging my video machine into my Dvd recorder..recorded the tapes onto the DVD player, then from dvd player onto blank dvd....it took a little time but it saved me £££,s.

I just use a VHS / DVD combi machine
