seem to be loads doing that now, twice a day.. Ive never tried it as be in divorce courts within 6 month

which club you in mate ?
no club for me. twice a day was to and from work so not too hard to fit in without upsetting the wife. it works well for me and takes no extra time, but need to be careful not to just run more miles but get nothing out of them.

two runs today for me. ooooh, and still in one piece. all going very well right now.
I do that twice a week, it's about as much as I can manage. I usually split mine as 8mile/4 mile or 9mile/3mile. I find it hard to do two even runs. I know some do 6/6 or 7/7. The coach at our club used to do 8 and 8 in his peak

yesterday was 8 and 6 for me, at around 6:30 pace. do it once every couple of weeks. I find it amazing how good I feel after a rest day following 2 sessions in a day.

Good stuff, I tend to do first one at a set pace but second one just how I feel (sometimes quite slow). Not sure about feeling great but it certainly makes me hungry. . I empty the fridge when I run twice :)

Managed a PB half marathon distance today of 2:13, I'm over the moon and not sure how I managed it. Had an average pace of 06:02/km for the first 15k. I sat in the bath for an hour and a half afterwards trying not to be sick like!

Set up nicely for the Oxford Half Marathon next month, if I can get around in 2:15 in a proper event I'll have achieved more than I thought ever possible.

Completed the last 15k of the GNR route today in 1hr 20.

Its about 20 years since I last did a GNR so quite happy where I am as I only started running again in January.

Also, just got back from 3 weeks on oz which hampered training a bit but did manage a 28k run over there after getting lost in the australian bush.....

managed a 20miler yesterday, 1st time I have done 20 so I took it easy and average 8.12, lucky I took toilet paper out with me as it got a bit twitchy at 16 mile and had to plough into a bush to ease off. Very enjoyable run it was, going to do GNR as a tempo hopefully around marathon pace if I can stop myself getting caught up in the GNR race day

Anybody doing GNR on Sunday ? It's thankfully cooled down and conditions look decent for the race. . . be nice to have a 50mph westerly though :)

Aye I'm doing it for the first time. I've done 2 11 milers as part of my training in 10 minute miles so hoping for about 2.15 on the day. Glad it's cooling down.
