Can someone advise what my possible options are here, I like having the running apps like Strava, however I don't like carrying a phone with me while running, with all this technology about, what else could I use?

I've just bought a tickr X heart rate monitor, that has onboard memory so you don't need to take your phone and it'll track heart rate, calories burnt then sync to your phone when you're back, but it doesn't have gps so won't track your route unfortunately

Lost 9lbs in just over a month with my new Fitbit Charge HR, Gym and dieting. I'm 5'7". Hoping to get from 12st 7lb to 10st 7lb although I might increase that if I get a larger muscle ratio.

Resting heart rate has went from 77bpm to 56bpm in that same time and I've lost 2.5" from my waist. Stomach must have already contracted as I get full on smaller portions than I did.

Basically everything is good absolutely brilliently.

At just over 200lb I'm the heaviest I've been, literally bounced off 200lb before and back down to 190lb, got about 5 weeks to do the same again. The party is over.

5600 cal deficit over the last week and lost 1.4lbs. Seems I have my calories about right. 2950 cal maintenance

I have stopped calorie counting. Only thing I have changed is swaping 4 slices of bread a day with a pack of oatcakes. SInce doing that over 5 weeks ago I have dropped 11 lbs. I am trainin for gnr so needed a diet where I wouldn't bloat up but manage to keep full and this works. My energy levels are excellent.

Bread/carbs had affected energy level?

Yep. Bread makes the body create too much insulin which in turn makes you feel sleepy. But at the same time poor made bread ie shop bought loaf are also poorly made. They don't get time to proof proper meaning you get a bloated feeling in the gut. Read up on bread v oatcakes.
where have you read this? Please don't try pass off statements such as "bread makes you create too much insulin" as fact.

no, I'd want proper scientific findings, not just random websites at the top of google. There's a multitude of aspects that attribute to your blood sugar levels. Not just eating an unquantified amount of bread.

If you're happier for it, cool, but it's an anecdote, not fact.

Hit 30lbs weight loss a couple of weeks back and appear to have lost all motivation. Happy to maintain, but missing the drive to lose those last 10 or so lbs

Down to 196.2lb, been sticking to a super healthy diet and been doing a fitness class in Hebburn, feel f***ing knackered but it's the change I needed.
