Much improved now compared to the first couple of months of the season and it makes such a difference in being able to play a pressing game for 90 minutes.
Whatever happens now we must get better sorted in preseason going forward

When you have 1 player doing it then others follow suit. I can't remember the last time we had a player like khazri who will chase lost causes for 90mins. Vardy does it to good effect at Leicester

Based on yesterday, may be. But I thought we looked slow and very lethargic against Liverpool.

I agree... we were slow against Liverpool (On the brake) however yesterday we looked sharp ..I think that had a lot to do with Khazri work rate and finding his feet in this league quickly..long may it continue.

But against City and most of the game against tottenham we were far more energetic.
The point remains that our preseasons are treated as extended holidays rather than fitness camps

Against a top side it is difficult to keep pressing for 90 mins no matter how fit the players are but it helps if all the players are trying, that's the difference now.

Last 20 mins of 1st half yesterday we resorted to type...... Sitting deep and letting United come on to us which is what lead to their goal.

Oshae and Cattermole just can't get the dropping deep out of their game

Aye but that will change assuming BSA stays. His sports science approach will have them peak on day one of the season.

Great point. I believe this is down to the players themselves and not the manager.

My good lord

Blaming o Shea for dropping deep is ridiculous. The introduction of rodwell surrendered the midfield for the remainder of the first half.

But we got 2 late goals anyway. And a late push saw us get another late goal yesterday. Compared to earlier this season where even if we were trailing by a single goal, we'd fade long before full time and give the opposition a nice easy finish.

If we are to stay up, then rekindling that "late show" confidence we had for a season under Keane will be massive. And fitness is the biggest factor in that.

That will always be the case. Unless you have a Spanish doctor, all football teams need to play in phases. Top teams can keep the ball while they rest, limited teams like ours need to concede ground and contain.
