Weight loss for 2016

Struggling this week! Match and a few pints has caught up with is! Weigh day tomorrow expecting to have put on weight its marathon not a sprint but :lol:
 
No loss this week :( I had two days out for birthdays so ended up scoffing a massive pizza, a massive indian takeaway and a few gallons of ale. I had hoped that stepping up my cardio on the other 5 days would offset this some (It probably did or I'd be up).

Not gonna be a good week this week either - Superbowl weekend requires eating a sickening amount of chicken wings while hammering horrendous fizzy-piss-water american 'beer'. Oh well.

this is good because I went off plan a bit last night struggling with not smoking and not killing everyone
 
No change here but I'm still poorly and bloated beyond belief due to the crohn's flare. I look about six months gone! Hospital and camera today, so hopefully I'll get sorted.

Down just .1lb today as I had a takeaway last night.
 
Can't actually believe my eyes. I really want to go on a big rant and try and educate some ridiculous info, but I know my efforts will go waste. So I'm just gonna close the thread, and never go back to it. The usual lads who post on Diet And exercise who are quite knowledgeable i suggest do the same :lol:
 
@becs how did it go? Are the results known straightaway?
I had a camera thing and it was just an operative and then had to be reviewed by a consultant.

Having a big slab of steak tonight as I am due on, and green veg.

Beginning to relax the diet slightly as I want to train more now.
 
I watched it on the big screen! There's inflammation there so he snipped some samples off and sent them for biopsies. There is no internal bleeding though so the blood I've passed must just be superficial from the large quantities of diarrhoea passing through. That's a relief! Going back to see the consultant on the 24th to see what he says after the lab stuff comes back. Also having minor surgery for a female issue on the 22nd, so that will be a fun week to look forward to :lol:

Also had a lovely steak for tea :D

Sounds utterly horrendous, I hope all goes well.

Lost 1lb today. Bought a new coat that fits better.
 
Gained 0.8 lbs in a week. Can't really get my head round it, I'm not that fussed by weigh per se and I can notice a difference in the mirror, along with dropping a belt notch and losing body fat % according to the scales but I'm only averaging 2200 cals a day. It should be flying off me.

Are you logging everything in and burned? My bmr is currently around 2200 so to gain 0.8 in a week I would only need to eat 400 calories more than that, i already have half that in coffee so its easily missed.

I log everything religiously but don't log exercise. However, that's already calculated in my TDEE.

My BMR is 2200 but I'm lifting 3 times a week, have football training once a week and row on average about 8 miles a week.

Might be muscle gain?

Quick check tonight, almost out of the 16 stones, just about a pound or so to shed to get into the 15s, diets all over the place saying that, been a tough few days at work and a family illness. Another month or two at current progress should do me well.
 
Been through a dark few months with depression and been comfort eating and not exercising. Haven't been weighed yet, but I'll join in. Need to lose it by July so I don't look wobbly in my bikini on holiday :D
I'm with you Becs. I've been eating crap since I retired. Need to get slimmer for my lad's wedding in May. Don't want to ruin his pictures.
