I'll google where it starts then !!

Guisborough Rugby Club, straight up the stairs next to it, turn left for about a mile then follow the sign posts marked Cleveland Way.....Will be heading up for another dodge about soon, will give you a shout if you want a run out....Similarly will be doing some big session over Clay Bank to Lordstones with LOTS of climbing if you fancy that too

Cam fo mate, I'm working just beside one of those massive chimneys not far from there at moment so might try n get up one time after work shen lighter. Cheers

Great username mate, love that mountain (well all the Lakes to be honest) :)

I picked it because I used to be able to see it out of my kitchen window. It was a favourite safe dog walk when the weather was bad too, the back route up via Ullock Pike. The fells on the doorstep are probably the only thing I miss about Cumbria. However, I do now have gas and interwebs that doesn't come down bail twine!

I'd rather have need gas or Internet and live over there marra!

Blaydon race opened last night for club runners and is open from 7pm tonight for anyone who fancies it

Had to pull out of the Hardmoors 55 in March, crap but I've done nowt for nearly 4 weeks due to a chest infection. Gutted but 100% sure that it's the right decision. Hopefully that'll be the end of the withdrawals this year
sorry to hear that, you get your money back?
it's my 2016 A race, i'd be gutted to lose out.

I will do yeah, L50 is still my A race but fancied having a pop at this one too, maybe one 50+ miler is enough eh? Cheers mate
get it done man ya big puff - you'll be fine for the 55 honest - much easier than the l50 and you've smashed that.

Just did my first run of the year after my 2 months winter sabbatical. 2.2 miles in just over 17 mins. It felt like my first ever time, its amazing how quickly the fitness goes after a few weeks of doing nothing.

Jon's given me until first week of March to make my mind up, I just haven't got the miles in my legs at all this year that's me problem mate

ove that mountain (well all the Lakes to be honest) :)

Heading up Skiddaw in the morning, the gale force winds, driving rain, snow above 300m and sub zero temperatures should mimic the conditions in the Alps perfectly. Why oh why did I sign up to this
