The entries for January's Waste competition are below.

You will notice an addition this month. A contestant has requested that an explanation of the photo be added to add some context. As the dictator of the competition I agreed to that.

You have 7 days to vote (until end of 10th Feb) and can vote for as many as you like.

This is just a small amount of returned medicine to a local pharmacy to be thrown away or burnt...

This is just a small amount of returned medicine to a local pharmacy to be thrown away or burnt. As you can see it is untouched but it has to be destroyed just in case it has been contaminated. Every month hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds worth of unused medicines are returned - what a pure waste!

Aye, in many cases yes, but I'd hazard a guess people may not understand the criminal waste that goes on in the NHS unless they work there. Perhaps.

Let me just get this straight also, the photo competition is the op vs himself? I guess I am wrong, these are anonymous entries.

Don't think either are by the op. Generally anonymous until the result

the OP has the entries sent to him and posts them as anonymous entries to the company. Stops people being able to vote for their mates (even though that never happened)
