Get her to sing the frozen song next time, they will be soon egging her on for Sunderland songs.

It's DEFOOOOOE
It's DEFOOOOOE
Can't hold him back anymore...
It's DEFOOOOE
IT'S DEFOO-OO-OOE
You'll always see him score!
He we stand in the Light of Day
Hear the Roker Rooooooooooooooooooar
The Mags never bothered him anyway...

Thank you.
Thank you very much.

my 4yr old daughter was told to be quiet and told to stop singing " SUNDERLAND, SUNDERLAND "
during the game ,because she was " getting on my nerves" by fellow sunderland fans
ffs i was gob smacked
Not remotely surprised this was the east stand. Once got told off for jumping up and celebrating us winning a penalty when I was sat there.

This all day. What is it coming to at Sunderland when a nipper can't have a bit sing at the match? Some arseholes take themselves far too seriously. That's the future of our club right there in that little lass. Some folk need a bat round the lug.
Correct.

These idiots are pathetic . You would think we were all at the opera. Football should be fun. Is anything in their miserable lives fun? Personally I doubt it.

.. would be a fine example using that type of language in front of your bairn ..

:rolleyes: hypothetically speaking like, but regardless of the language it'd be better than letting some stranger try and stop your kid enjoying themselves

Maybe not all parents are as perfect as you obviously were. That's no reason to take it out on the kids.

If there is one think I really hate in life its smug parents who think they are better than everyone else, without knowing the circumstances or anything really.

This!

Manners have nothing to do with singing at a football match. Any 'adult' complaining about a child getting excited and behind their team have much bigger problems than the child they are moaning about.

The worse parents are the ones who expect everyone to find little Johnny's irritating behaviour as endearing as they do. Basic consideration for others is a 2 way street imo.

Anyway, the OP's bairn might have been a really shit singer. Out of tune and getting all the words wrong.

Yup. If I was sitting next to a kid who was screeching on I'd probably endure it, but I wouldn't blame people for having a quiet word. "Being told to be quiet" seems fairly reasonable to me.
