Calorie question

Is there a quick way to work out how many calories I need each day to maintain weight (assuming exercise each day was the same).
Do I need less as I age, and if yes, is this because metabolism slows with age?
Thanks.

I like my Fitbit. It tells me how many calories I've burned that day depending on how much exercise I've done. I've just passed my 2200 target for the day. If I was arsed, I would also log my food on mfp and try to eat 1000 fewer calories than I was burning so I could lose weight.

My bmr is around 1500 cals but even on a slow day in the office with no exercise I'll burn around 1800.
