Fallout 4

Is that not a good thing of sorts?

Much like when you use a stimpak and increase your health they do the same. Raiders do it as well. I've had a few where they try to inject health and you shoot them to stop them. I enjoy the different levels of enemies. Also how far are you in the game?

Once you start picking up or building decent weapons they do damage. I use a compensated hardened pistol with about 40 damage up close and does a job. Modified sniper rifle or assault rifle for distant.

That righteous gun is decent you get from paladin danse in all.
Aye you make a good point, just frustrating. It was that super mutant tower next to diamond city with the bloke trapped at the top who is sending a distress call. Ended up just going in with power armour and a minigun and storming the place.

I have very little ammo for energy weapons, struggling to find any and I'm too tight to buy some cos I'm saving to buy that house in diamond city.

Is this game worth getting? I know it's a different type of game but is it say any better than Black Ops 3? If given the choice between the two, which would everyone go with?

There's a reason why the whole planet is talking about FO4. If you just like to "shoot shit" and dislike rpg elements then don't bother.

On lesser enemies I just use a pipe pistol.Have about 2000 rounds for that and just mooch around collecting ammo for better guns.

Is it much different to Fallout 3 or is it basically the same?
Different.

If you haven't played any you're in luck.

Buy fallout 3 and new Vegas. Should be able to pick them up for peanuts. Play through fallout 3 first and then new Vegas. By the time you've finished them you'll
Be able to pick fallout 4 up for £20.

I used to have Fallout 3 for the 360, I thought it was decent but I never really play on games anymore. Now and then I fancy a mess about so was thinking of getting a new game. I'm just thinking Fallout 4 might be too time consuming though. Do you get right into it straight away or does it take a lot of hours before you get anywhere?

Can mates join in or is only single player?

Single player only and tbf of you don't play it regularly then you will probably forget what's going on

Edit: if you want a perfect jump in pick up and play game then download rocket league it is class

Have to say getting a bit bored \ frustrated with this. Level 44. Got about 25 settlements all sound. Dipping in and out of main story but it just doesn't grab me.

Repeat quests all ower wi Preston and brotherhood. It's becoming like fps sim city.

Love it, but, not a patch on new Vegas imho

Jesus wept that Swan is a big bastard

Ran around and he got stuck behind a tree trying to get to me so I avoided his attacks other than throwing rocks

Codsworth just stood and watched of course

The whole base building thing is completely new and quite extensive. The crafting and modding is "upgraded". Obviously the quests and stuff are new. But yeah, it's the 4th installment of an existing franchise so it will have elements from previous games.

Thought I'd go to the castle since I had a bot confidence...fuck I wish I'd waited
Used almost all of my ammo seeing as I wasn't expecting a boss I had nee missiles or owt on me

Incredibly satisfying using the sniper rifle. Got a really good one atm with around 1500 bullets for it, great feeling blowing a super mutants head off from miles away, even better doing it about 5 metres away.
