Playstation headset 7.1 surround sound...

I shit you not its unbelievable.

The sound is ridiculous. Can't recommend it enough, for £45 it's an absolute bargain.


I've used my mates £250 turtle beach and this is better. Playing cod today was like playing a new game all the sounds I didn't normally hear etc.

You can hear where people are perfect

My Xbox stereo 1 is better.

This cod especially mate. They've nailed the sounds so a good headset is a must.

If ya not using a good headset you are at a huge disadvantage.

1st game with this headset I got 10 kills and 0 deaths on Search and destroy hardcore.

Could have just been luck but I reckon it was the headset

Really keen to try these but it's hard to gauge "unbelievable" as that's based on what you're used to. I use PX21 and think I can hear everything but it's hard to know if your experience with these is that much better than what I hear through mine. Suppose I'll just wait till they break and find out then...
 
How does 7.1 work on headphones? I've never tried them but assumed it would be impossible to achieve surround sound through a headphone?

I've used a load of turtle beaches (can't remember specifics models, on xbox and Playstation.

I was using P 12 before this one and its no where near as good this one.

So my unbelievable means the best headset I've used.

But like you said it's just my experience.

However I have used my mates £250 wireless turtle beach (can't remember the model and if anything it's just as good)

How do you mean suss the volume controls, just the ones on the physical headset? In terms of voice/game?

I'm just thick mate but there a master volume control which turns everything up or down.

Then there's a mute button (straight forward mute ya self)

But then there a chat / sound button.

I thought if you pressed chat then used the master volume that would turn chat up or down, then if you pressed the sound button then used the master control it would turn the game sound up or down.

But if you just press the chat button it moves the chat volume up and the game volume down, same with the sound button, turns sound up and chat down.

Then there's the settings 1 and 2 think you can save settings
