you should have sold more. The whole squad is more than replaceable. It's the only way you progress. Bridcutt shouldn't even be in the team. Also terrible signings.

Not paying full whack for it simply because I'll spend the next three month playing it in my spare time then never look at it again.
 
Ended up buying it after sitting out the last two years once I read this thread, I will probably be divorced in the new year.

Started a game with Crewe, gone for a mixture of following the board/club philosophy of promoting youth and veterans, brought a 40 year old Del Piero in on a free, still has class stats. Ex FM legend Lauri Dalla Valle is at Crewe as well. Pillaged the prem teams for loan signings and Crewe have quite a few young players you can flog so I've still got a bit of wedge to play with, Del Piero is on massive wages so I hope he does the business!

I'll post some screenshots of my exploits in League 1 at the weekend.
 
Approaching the end of Season 3 and still at Tamwoth in the Conference National, expected to finish 22nd but 5th at the minute which is class as I brought next to no-one in and have zero cash. Turned down the chance to manage Gateshead as while they're a slightly bigger club they're 20th and have the scent of relegation about themselves. Sunderland are at the bottom of the Championship and looking for their 4th manager in 2 1/2 years.

There have been good signings available I wanted like Zucculini etc but because I have read on here people have signed him, I have not tried to follow suit :lol:

I needed an extra midfielder, however I am massively regretting his signing :lol:

Been given an ultimatum of getting 5 points in 5 games, I have drew against Arsenal and got beat 2-1 off Liverpool, mags at home next.

Crewe are a good team to use. Shite in real life, but got good youth players that develop well. I was there on last years or season before when they were in League 2 and did well with them.
 
29 games into my first season with the lads and clinging on to 7th. Got rid of Buckley and Bridcutt, brought in Vlaar, Diabate (CF), Andros Townsend and Chris Lowe (LB). My defence is woeful, no matter what formation or mindset I use. As an example, I played Bournemouth (20th) at home and we got beat 5-4! I'm getting hammered with serious injuries as well.
 
Things were looking rosy, sitting in 8th and 5 points away from 6th. Loaded up tonight and lost 7 on the belt until I've drew 3-3 with Bournemouth, Borini and Wilson bagging a hat trick, and now I've turned off (went ahead 3 times).

So into March, with my easier run of games to come, hopefully be able to turn this awful run of form around.
 
Just 5 games left to finish season 3 on my Tamworth save, sitting 7th atm with every chance of playoffs but the game has decided that it's not going to let me win any more, ah knarr it's me tactics, but also been appointed Finland U21 manager. Can't get anyone to sign on as coaching staff, even the lowest reputation coaches decline any offer I make.
 
What are people getting success with? I am 2nd off bottom with about 8 points from 13 games. Got an ultimatum that I need 5 points from 5 games, so far I have 2 from 3, so need a win in next 2 games. Dont know how people are finishing top 10 and having Borini and Lens scoring like 15 a piece :lol:
