Really? Is that to play alongside his young'un? Could be some low scores in the seconds of that's the case!

Be very suprised if that is true mind. Genuinely rate Billy, think he's a great turn at our level. Scores runs takes wickets as has plenty about him in terms of will to win.

I can see exactly why he may want to play seconds mind but it won't be long before his youngin is the firsts anyway as he's supposed to be quality too (going to be better than billy I've heard some say). I know you say there'll be some low scores but if they bat first there's danger of some league records being broken that's for sure as his batting is still quality too. Should think that eve wood lads will be trying to twist his arm to play firsts mind. Either way a very good signing.

There may well be more happenings in DCL2 but those are the only ones I've heard and as I say some may just be rumours.

Bizarre year in terms of player movements never known anything like it so early on. Burnmoor made two good signings raiding the ex County League in Ian Grainger from Tudhoe and young spinner Liam Burgess from Crook. Boldon have yet to show their hand expect something from them soon.

I don't really know the lad but someone mentioned he upsets the younger lads all the time, and 1 or 2 have even been on the verge of refusing to play with him. Could be bollocks obviously.

Know the lad well. Good cricketer the club will be worse without him.

Will say what needs to be said some might find that hard to take.

It's great to see all the leagues are trying to strengthen. I know there are negatives but it's refreshing when you go to places and not playing against the same team expect maybe one change.

This is a big season ahead for most with the new Pyramid coming in for the 2017 season, clubs will want ot lay the foundations to at least not get relegated

I wonder if money has been spent on clubs trying to improve thier facilities as well. For example, have Esh made some inroads so that they meet the criteria should they win it again next year. I hope so otherwise just playing for pride of winning the league

Looks like a bit of a mixed bag for Sacriston as they've done well to get Hubber & Betts back, but they've lost Potts & Carr.

miles stronger then last year my guess is top 3 next year if all clicks as it should

Not spoke to dan for a wile but don't think it's on the cards nd unsure on others but both Martin and betts have scored 100s for Segga opening the batting not so long ago but agree one gun batter at the top nd wil be very competitive also a experienced spinner would be good

Carr and Potts along with sticks were seggas three main run scorers last season so that's a big void to fill mind. Hubber will slot into top 5 but don't imagine betts will be any higher than 6. Bowling options look strong mind as really liked look of that Appleby young un. Three very good seamers to play with there.
