Looking to book accommodation this weekend for Euro 2016 next June and never been there before so looking for some hotel recommendations. I've heard some parts of Paris are rough as fuck and need to know which areas to avoid.

Central should be fine its the outskirts i think where the problems would be ,up around Mont Marte is a bit eclectic shall we say, ended up lost and in a Caribbean house party:lol: like something out of a Tarantino film

The majority of accommodation in Paris is shite mate, even the so called better hotels. My first port of call is always trip advisor!

Try the Marriott Courtyard in Boulogne-Billancourt.

None of the hotels in Paris are cheap but this is better than the really cheap ones and does some really good rates

Stayed in a decent Best Western near Grand Magasin (the big shops). Think it was called Droit L'Opera on something. Great location as it is 5 mins walk to 3 different metro lines. The Paris metro is superb by the way, far superior to the tube.

Villa des Ambassadeurs

6 rue du Bouquet de Longchamp, Paris, Paris, 75116, France, ‏‎1-800-796-208‎

Mrs EJK stayed there last week. She rated it quite highly.

Stay away from the moulin rouge area
its great there - just be a little more careful after dark - rue de abbessess is a great place great restaurants up there - anyway Monkey Tassle is practically a local so follows his advice! (except for the f***ing rug bit!) :) we stayed at a hotel right next to the monmarte cemetary - on the rue de clichy found it on booking.com and it was cheap as chip but great quality - some great places round there for breakfast too

Horrible place. Needs a right f***ing wash the whole city. Everyone looks miserable as sin too.

Hope this helps.
