Cricinfo has hales at 3 and bell opening.
Who to believe;
The employers of said cricketers and the most respected news broadcaster in the world.
OR
An Internet site that people have been moaning about as being "shite" for the entire tour thus far.

Aye. Tough one.

Bbc are hopeless at refreshing scorecards usually. Anyway I was just saying why I was saying what I did. Cricinfo is a superb website, but isn't the first time they've been poor with a tour game obviously don't have someone there.

I think there's only one 'feed' for most matches and that's usually cricinfo and the BBC takes their info from that. That seemed to be what was happening during the summer but it's not to say that is what's happening out there at the moment.

England don't take their own scorer on tours so it'll be a local doing the scoring hence the confusion. Sky should clarify because they'll probably have Tim Abraham on site.

If you retire it goes down as "retired out" and you can't resume your innings so it's a wicket down.
Another two players retired which haven't gone down as wickets.

Also buttler and stokes have no idea what a cricket bat is at the minute.

Bairstow out for a duck

Rashid and Patel batting at the moment 132 for 5 off 35 overs

How the fuck does this work? we have about 55 overs left and need 60 runs, and they need 5 wickets. If they get us 10 wickets down do we just put more batsmen in???

Stokes' batting is a massive concern if he's going to be coming in at 6.

Seems to go through these extended spells where he can't buy a run. Add Buttler's horrific form and our lower middle order looks very fragile.

This was the sort of match where the scorer would have a nervous breakdown.

Heaven knows what Bill Frindall would have made of it.

Stokes has had a poor two games, couldn't complain too much if he is dropped for the first test.

He is just one of those players. Flint off was the same. There will be games where they contribute fuck all but both Flintoff and Stokes have that extra little something about them where they can turn a game with one moment of brilliance. Might just be one spectacular catch, run out or one snorter of a ball when things aren't going to plan or there is a lull but it makes a huge difference.

For those reasons, Stokes has to play.
