The cost was unbelievable for what people were getting in terms of quality.
Shocking in fact. I suspect a lot of people will not be able to maintain those costs. It was when I saw a young'un in a wetherspoons on a Thursday afternoon chewing their jaw off that I started to fully comprehend what I'd being seeing previously. Even in my village, the barmaid was skipping along behind the bar.

Tidied.

They don't even have the decency to go into the cubicles round here nowadays in certian places. Just gather in the bogs and crack on:lol:

A few places down here have this substance on the sink/toilet covers that make coke stick so you can't snort off it. Only makes coke stick to it like. Imagine someone who had no idea and empties his bag on it

They'd put it on the back of their phone if they were smart

I see, I thought you'd lived there years. I thought about it but chose Germany instead, looking back it was the right choice as I was to young for a place like that full time.

I reckon I could happily live there now but kids etc have put the block on that. Maybe later in life I'll get a place out there as I feel real comfortable when I'm there.

I'm back over soon but looking at Alkmaar or Heerenveen as I wanna watch their football teams and I've never been to either.
The main reason I only stayed over here a couple of years first time.
Germany was an interesting choice. Auf wheidisen or a woman ?

Now I'm living here I can't keep the kids away, they seem to like coming to visit......and live.......and it's great to have them around. Don't worry they'll be moving into your Haarlem pad.

I wouldn't bother with Aaalkmaar at the minute, they are still shite in their ugly stadium. The only time I tried to see Heerenveen I couldn't get a ticket for love nor money. It turned out to be a derby against Groningen.

I've recently moved to Liverpool and everyone is on the old marching powder. Manchester the same.

Went into a toilet in the pub the other night and there were 3 different groups casually snorting it, again, not even in the cubicles.

Anyone who went into the cubicles neither pissed, or shat, or flushed the bog. Strange.

Bloke was shot and killed at the weekend trying to stop an armed robbery, seems he was after drug money. Found out today that the victim was my mate Larry. His wife was with him at the time, they were playing pool. f***ing gutted, hope the wanker is caught and strung up by the balls. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfo...ains-quarters-fatal-shooting-update-1.3256677
So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend lovely man ((((hugs)))), my thoughts are with you (and his loved ones) and I hope the scumbag who murdered him gets what's coming to them

I'm sorry to hear that, but if you'll permit me to continue, you said the magic word there, "misuse".

There's a difference between use and misuse. If you misuse a car in the wrong way you'll kill people, including yourself. That doesn't mean we should ban everyone from driving just because some people choose to drive like lunatics.

When people die while on ecstasy, it's not generally the ecstasy itself that kills them, it's either dehydration or overhydration, both of which can be avoided if the user has been properly educated about the effects of ecstasy and the ways that it alters your thought processes. Proper education in the effects of drugs can be difficult for someone to get when the drug is illegal. Not so much when your country takes the Portugal approach.

Another "killer" in the illegal drug world is impure product. When you buy a pill or a wrap, you haven't got a clue what's in it. Decriminalise it and you get health instructions leaflets in the packs, strength ratings on the box, and you can guarantee that the thing you're taking is exactly what you think it is. This would save lives.
The ecstasy killed him. Dehydration is a condition. Ask the lads coroner. He doesn't name dehydration. He names ecstasy.

Love a few lines every now and then. Can't afford to do it too much as the stuff we get goes for 60 quid a half gram. Its tremendous mind and makes for a beautiful evening.

 a few keys instead is the way to go.

What if its just a standard phone?

I wonder how many parents on here say, 'it's okay kids, drugs are fine in moderation. You try them one day.'

Two of my mates dads have a few lines with us  Went to a wedding in Ibiza and stayed in a massive villa, one of the dads hoyed us a 10 gram wrap (he is minted) and said "enjoy" then fucked off with his missus) she also dabbles).

If I had kids I certainly wouldn't be telling them all drugs are the work of the devil. I'd be educating them rather than preaching nonsense.

Basically mate I was getting in to trouble again, my mams youngest sister lived in Dresden and offered me a job/new start so I took it. I knew I had to move anyway just lucky she could set me up initially.

On a visit back home I met someone here and eventually moved back. I don't regret coming back but I still visit friends over there a few times a year, I always will. I also love watching Dynamo Dresden, the match day experience is something else like.

I can see the attraction for your kids, just a totally different way of life over there imo. Not necessarily better than the UK just very different, more relaxed. They can have it until I retire!

Any other suggestions for a match day? A few people said those two were canny but I'm open to suggestions and you live there so...

Exactly. Just as you'd educate them on drink/sex etc. it's naive to just say it's all evil.

I cant talk for the rest of the parents on this thread but I know that informing my children from an early age about drugs and their effects has helped my children to mature into young adults with a full understanding of drugs. Like 80% of young people they experimented, fuck all I could do about that as can't many parents. They were informed and a lot safer. Given the informed opinions on this thread I don't think you have to worry about the children of the future. This needs the south Park song about drugs.

ive got a 19 year old daughter and all ive told her is if your gonna do it make sure its in a safe place with yer mates around you and think about how your gonna get home if the situation isnt right

what else can you do? if thier gonna do it you cant stop them

One of my kids come home and asked about drugs, they'd had a bloke in school giving a talk and she wanted to know more. I thought the best approach was just to be honest about it. She will have choices to make soon and I'd rather she has her eyes wide open rather than be naive and have no clue about any of it. It's silly to think at some point drugs won't be offered to them.

My sisters oldest daughter was told the truth about it and as far as I'm aware is one of only two in her little group that don't take coke/extacy etc. it didn't impress her.

Won't work for all obviously, like you though, I can oy speak for myself.
