RTG Getting pop-ups, Audio, redirects, ads overlaying text, malware reports from ads please read this



"Network 1" which seems to be where most the iPhone trouble is coming from will be gone for good in 2 weeks (end of contract with them), but meanwhile you should not get more than 3 a day from them providing you are not blocking cookies.

Why is this STILL happening? It's an absolute farce now man, getting to the point where I'll not be using the place because if it, it's worse than ever now, f***ing infuriating.
 
No issues on the add free group. The way it should be. Dreading the trail to be over. Won't use on mobile until the issue is resolved like. It's a very serious issue and compromises safety and privacy of the user.

Without a doubt. It needs sorting ASAP as its getting more aggressive. People already been scammed out of cash.
 
I think this is one of the best forums on the net but have severely curtailed my visits here recently as it's completely unusable now on mobile, you can't click on a single thread topic without shite redirects to scams.

Can somebody confirm if this will cease (on IPhone) if I become a 'contributor'?

More than happy to do that it stops this shite once and for all.

If that is add free then yes. I am on a trial with it and have had no issues at all. Don't like the fact we are sort of being forced to joins paid group to get a stable service though.

I know what you mean mate, the site needs to be funded somehow and I think it's perfectly fair that the admin give you an option to contribute to the upkeep or accept the advertising that provides an additional revenue stream. It's when the ads are redirecting to scams etc that there is a problem.
I'm happy to contribute if it stops the shite, just didn't want to contribute to still get the scam redirects.

You won't get the redirects if you go ad free, but the annoying thing is that you shouldn't be getting redirects, popups etc anyway, only a maximum of 2 plain banner ads/page when logged on. The trouble is, nearly every ad network we use is sending 'malvertising' particularly to iphones, and to a lesser extent to android devices and desktops and either don't care or are unable to do anything about it. I fully understand people turning to ad-blockers when they get this crap.
 
I keep getting diverted with ad tracker. It happens all the time when I'm on 3G. Every page I try and open sends me to a load of pages then into the App Store.

I'm on iPhone 6 with network 3 if that helps.
