think only if hastings doesn't play and i would expect him to.

Great chance for Muchall to show he deserves a new contract by going out and opening the innings and being a leader instead of being tucked away down the order and exposing an 18 year old the way many other young players have been hung out over the years.

entirely possible, just thought i'd mention it as a possibility.

i know what you mean but everyone is different, perhaps the responsibility and faith shown in him if asked to open would inspire young jack.

interested to see how this goes, hopefully we can get a positive result here and take the pressure of, allowing us to rest hasto for the last few and give harrison & weighell chances to shine.

also iirc rushworth still has a chance to get 100 wickets in the season so hope he can get a fair amount here [needs 18 out of our last 3 matches iirc] and also rocky is still shy of 1000 runs for the season. scotty has 1300 or so, may be able to get 1500 which would be an amazing haul

Scotty has 1012 in the CC. Stoneman 896, be nice for him to get that in the first innings :cool:.

Marty and Kevin Hand on comms, should be good crack, also some hewer called Izzy - who will be vile.

Yup. Read badger has 1300& some in total - all he has to do is stick to his average and he'll top 1500 (maybe even 1600) which would be exceptional.
