Loads of good first touch passing and won his fair share of headers.

Was 'noticeable' in the midfield which is more than some of our more anonymous CMs over the years.

Makes a nice change, hopefully more of the same from him and he might even bring others on a bit with any luck.

International break coming up isn't there? Decent time for him to regain some fitness until then. Maybe get some under 21 time in too if there are games...
 
I tell you what I noticed, the first half we were trying to play up the wing and losing possession miserably and often. When Ola came on we started playing direct, straight down the middle which was causing Villa all kinds of problems - that's the way to do it ! :)
 
Can't wait till he's up to speed. We are in for a treat. Think if he does what he can do, he'll become a firm favourite of many.

so he was saying his opinion on a player like we all do before they play for us and he also said he would support the lad so don't get why your picking at his posts.

do you rate him because you have seen him play a half.

More than @jsdftm04 had seen of him before judging the lad.
