Can you

Can you confirm whether or not you were using the safari browser - I am testing this week, specifically for the iphone/safari combination to try to track the problem down.

@Wizards Sleeve can you confirm whether or not you have had problems in the last 24 hours (hopefully you have as that would identify one of the networks!)

@prehab26 can you confirm your device/browser combination? As stated above if its iphone/safari, things could well get worse this week as I attempt to identify the network as that combination is only receiving ads from one network at a time and I have removed the restriction on the number of ads sent to each user whilst tracking the problem down. Once I have identified the network(s) responsible, those networks will be stopped.

I have just changed the network again - this will take an hour or two two take affect, so please everyone with the iphone/safari combination let me know what happens this afternoon for the rest of the day.

I do not have an iPhone and do not see the problem myself, so am relying on accurate feedback from users to help resolve this.
I was using Iphone/Safari Combination, always have done. Will let you know if the issues continue.

Unfortunately I didn't get on much
yesterday, I struggled to get a signal all day on phone so I can't help with that particular network. I'll have a few goes today and report back later today/tomorrow morning.

@Roger , I just got redirected a few minutes ago (first time all week) to some £1.50 a week zombie game bollocks. I'm on 4g (never seems to do it when on Wi-Fi), using an Android on safari (Sony experia, although I doubt the model matters, just trying to give as much info as possible!)

it was fine from 1pm to 5pm yesterday when you said you were changing the network, but today was redirecting to pop ups again,
Iphone on ee 4g using safari browser

Mines going mad but only when using my data!! Wifi is no problem
Iphone 5
Vodaphone
4g
Safari

Every time I go to the main pages on bbc/sports [i.e. bbc/sports/0/football etc.] I get bumped to a page with only a 'go daddy' banner ad at the top.

Funny thing is that I only see 'go daddy' ads on RTG otherwise.

Is that today? I have already blocked the agency/network that appeared to be causing the iPhone ones. So that would imply problems with several networks

You must have malware if bbc is redirecting you as they don't run ads!

I was being redirected loads early this morning, to the point where I could barely use the site.
iPhone 5
Safari
On vodaphone.

Nah, the BBC run ads out here, but I don't recall them ever running this ad nor the one from 'the doubter' which it alternates with.

I've run Malwarebytes many times but it doesn't get rid of it.

Yes it was today...kept on directing me to the app store!!

According to this article the version of chrome released in March 2015 should prevent this form of auto -redirect (could explain why I haven't seen the problem recently on Android).
It doesn't look like Apple have a similar fix in ios/safari for the latest exploits though.

It doesn't work for me. I have the latest version of chrome and that's all I use. It's been none stop.

Worrying that it's happening on wifi too. How much is this bloody none advert thing? Feel like it's a bit shit to be forced into it but won't have my privacy or personal compromised through redirections to dodgy subscription services.
