which ipf approved belt should I buy.

As far as I know Inzer is approved in pretty much every fed. As a result a Forever belt costs $97. But they really are quality, you never hear a bad review about them and you'll never need another unless you change sizes completely.

I'm looking into one as my Schiek belt isn't actually usable in most feds. No idea why as it's just a standard belt. The fact that postage from the States costs more than the belt is putting me off.

I think Titan belts are also IPF legal but more expensive iirc. Strength Shop ones, which would be more affordable at around £50, were taken off the approved list for this year.

In short, the approved kit allows companies to rip your eyes out.

Anyhow, if you're happy to spend the money on it - here you go:

Titus competes in GPCGB iirc.

My issue is the lads in my gym compete in GBPF and I'm likely to go along with them. Purely because it's good to have people you train with around. GBPF is a part of IPF so have to follow their daft rules.
I'm not really tied but I didn't even know there's other feds in the north east, certainly not 'drug free'

Fwiw, if you did go GPCGB you'd probably be capable of qualifying for a national based on the 'B' standard totals. If I've read everything right. Heck, you'd probably get in for the 100kg class let alone the manlet class.

And GPC totals are generally higher than GBPF so you'll do well.

I'm 85kg atm but what does b standard mean?

Where else can I compete though

GPC, BPU or their tested division (can't remember the name). There's various reasons I don't really like the IPF or their affiliates, one of which being the fact that it's filled with stuck up arseholes.

The reality is, no fed in the UK is drug free. The less gifted users simply go to tested feds for a better chance of winning. If you're just competing for fun, I'd recommend GPC; great atmosphere and people with fair judging.

Well I want to win tbh

Lewbs would have no chance in an IPF affiliated fed. Red lights arl owa the shop when he successfully racks and re-racks a 500lb squat with no actual discernible squat.

One of my clients did a GBPF meet recently and the length of the pauses on his bench were stupid. Still won like

 Well apparently my squat depth is way more than necessary atm, I'm trying to catch the weight at depth but I find an atg squat easier due to momentum

I'm the same with high bar mind. Not sure if you are still low bar

As I say, it may be that a GBPF meet ends up being my first one. A lad at my gym holds a few of their sub-junior records at 83kg (I think it is) and has his sights set on Owen Hubbard's records as a junior. Been pestering me to just get on and do it even though I still feel embarrassed to go

I was watching Scott Mendehhhhhllson's bench 'world record' the other day and have decided it should have been red lighted. No pause at all.

'But can you even hold that weight on your back, you f***ing e-warrior? Yeah, thought not, come back when you can bench even half of what big Scott can bench phaggot'
