With Gomez out, and Rodwell being Rodwell. I don't see why any signings couldn't join, train and make an appearance in 8 days. ( Fitness pending )
 
No doubt we will get someone last minute after we have already wasted some easy fixtures.....then when they are crap it will be down to the fact that they didn't get a pre season under their belt.

i can't help but think that the wickham deal came out of nowhere and seems so quick i can't help but think we must have something 90% down to have accepted their offer. otherwise surely we would stall palace whilst wrapping up our signing.

moussa sow, jordan rhodes or hopefully [and more likely going on our other signings so far] someone who will suprise us.

Correct. I actually think that's a bit of a shame because I think it would be good if the club communicated through the local press.

But so far this summer he has found out about Advocaat staying off The Sun, said that Brown was going to be released on the morning he was given a new contract, found out that Kaboul was signing off The Sun, and told the world in a webchat that there were no imminent departures an hour before our biggest sale since Jordan Henderson broke. :lol:

Apparently he told @janey on Wednesday that the reason Wickham was left out of the Doncaster game was NOT because he was leaving :)

He did yes, but to be fair to him I'm not sure anyone would have known, but this is the tweet

@YoungSunEcho: @janey1000 Missed the Toronto game and missed training there too, so think it's a genuine one
