Dick is in charge.
Ellis is our chairman.
The players are out there.

These doomongers are starting to take a hold.

Giacch and Rodwell are better players than we've seen so far
Cattermole is staying
Wickham and Fletcher can only improve

Dick will have us mid table no bother

Can fly there in about an hour

The distance from London is irrelevant though as it's still totally impractical to live up here and fly down there when you fancy a meal in a posh restaurant, a new shirt from a trendy boutique or a night out at a club.

We're always going to struggle with location but we can talk players into moving here and the fact that London is pretty close, we don't live in a huge country. Problem comes when a player has his heart set on actually living in London permanently and that's why some 'smaller' clubs are more attractive to players.

We'll get players in, I'm just intrigued as to how we'll maximise Defoe's abilities.

It's s strange one. I spend a few days every week in London and I can't wait for the train to pull into Durham.

We run our area down and there is so much to enjoy. Durham is a magnificent city, we have glorious beaches on our doorstep and there are plenty of very good places to eat and drink.
Oh and the price differences are substantial. We should all be proud of where we live because it's fantastic and the people are genuinely friendlier/warmer/more fun.

The only real downside is economic, which explains the packed trains from the NE to London and back. London wages and NE house and living costs are an enjoyable combination. But we must do better in terms of attracting investment into our wonderful region with its talented but under-utilised workforce.

The world doesn't revolve around London, if that is where they want to spend their leisure time the money they earn makes it a lot more accessible for them than the working man.

I forgot we live in outer Mongolia.

Nowt wrong with the North East but if you're not from here, have no allegiance to the area and have several million in your bank account there may be a perception that there are better areas in which to live.......which tbf is a general description of the type of young men we're trying to coax here.

See the internet is a good thing , cyber love blossoms .

He could be a sick, vengeful psychopath hellbent on making the fella pay for this perceived slight though.
