Where to start .

I'm 5,6 and just over 12 clem. Going to start running I think anddo some sort of diet .

Ain't got a clue how to start .

Help please??????

Everyone knows the basics of healthy eating. Stop eating processed foods, fried foods, takeaways, snacking on crisps etc. Start eating healthy foods like lean meats, fruit, veg etc.

Start running by getting out the house and running! My first route was just over a mile long and that killed me. I set myself little baby goals like running to the post box without stopping, then running to t-junction and so on. I gradually increased the distance too. I usually do one long run and two or three short runs a week now.

Eat loads of carrots!

Seriously though @TomHelloWtf has told you how to do it. I use myfitnesspal and it has worked for me. You don't need to do hours and hours of exercise you'd be better to concentrate on diet and then do some exercise that you enjoy or simply build in more physical activity into your normal life.

Stop eating takeaways, dont drink alcohol in the house.

When you run dont set off a daft pace and knacker yourself out after 2minutes. Start slow and build up confidence.

It would help if you told us where you want to end up.

Lighter? Heavier? Stronger? Less body fat? Better at running?

and anyone else. Do you fancy spending a little time helping me compile some FAQ material that I can make into a thread and sticky. Just the usual, working out your cals, cal split, benefits of weights, benefits of cardio, tracking, etc etc.

If you can send stuff to [email protected] that'd be great.

Aye, do we have a list of the FAQs or just whatever irks us the most?

Let the lazy bastards search the thread. That's why they're out of shape in the first place. Laziness shouldn't be encouraged.
