The Witcher 3

Very hard fight that, I had to come back when I was about 5 levels higher.
Make sure you use Yarden to trap them, moon dust bomb to keep it corporeal, oil your sword (oo-eer), keep ducking and diving like a cockney and eat food while fighting.
Kill the adds ASAP as it heals her up the longer they are alive.
Might be harder at 30fps like

I don't have moondust bombs. Will have to go back to it later when I come across them. Getting to the point where I will have to do more of the story as the quests available are well above my current level.

Stopped doing the main mission as not sure how much more is to go. Im back at the castle and have to gather mates, so have stopped there. Is there much more to go? Had to go back and do more of the story as I was outlevelling it too quickly.

Can I fuck beat Jenny O the woods despite being about 5 levels above the suggested level for the quest. I can't seem to do any damage to her. I am finding most fights quite easy but she brays me in seconds. Am I missing something.
i did it 3 levels above, yrden sign, 3 attacks back away until yrden refills, 3 attacks wash rinse repeat, kill the 3 wraiths that heal her and just follow the same yrden, 3 attacks back off technique always have food ready and use swallow in a last resort.

did it quite easily without needing much healing, its more about the backing away after hitting her when shes slowed by Yrden, only got hit twice from memory

Will give that tactic a go tonight. If I still can't manage she can wait till I am solid and I will bray her all over.

i did it on Death March at Level 12 so cant really be that hard, i died once or twice before killing her but once i set myself up i killed her taking 2 hits, i never bother with oils, gets things done 1 hit faster really so id rather just be defensive and sneak in the extra hit somewhere.

use block and circle to back away, if she hits you it absorbs the damage given you are blocking, i only roll in seriously shit situations

Yeah it's easy if you use that magic trap tactic, you take off loads more damage when's she's in it. Wraith oil helps too.

I'm just finishing up the Velen secondary quests before moving on. Level 18 now. There's still loads of those questions marks I've not been to yet.

I just won that master card tournament. Could have been hopelessly trapped mid quest but for the npc character that helps me in the scrap. Two hit death for me otherwise!

if anyone is struggling carrying pointless heeds around taking up inventory space head to Oxenfurt Gate, to the East side of the map, theres a little Cemetary up the hill, theres an alchemist in there who buys them for full price rather than the 5 or 10 gold elsewhere, also a beggar just along the docks by St Gregory Bridge seems to be decieving, only sells bottles but he pays you full price for swords and magic stones.

Found both by accident when scouring Novigrad

It's unavoidable to a certain extent. I do the lowest quests in my journal, and there's usually 1-4 gray quests all the time.

reading it back does read like one of those utter cunts of gamers who are like

''well it cant be that hard i personally did it on PC controlling only with my penis on the keyboard and with both hand tied behind my back, while simultaneously quoting Shakespeare and watching cartoons on TV''

You must be someboy on this game. I am just on the medium difficulty

A surprising amount, actually.

You've still got the 'Kill Radovid (or not)' storyline to play out, then a load of running round preparing for the final showdown. Hours and hours, tbh.

Thanks. I did consider them when they were first out as I really like the Dragon Age games. Are they similar-ish?
DA, Witcher, Elder Scrolls are all open world RPGs set in a western fantasy style, so yes.

I halted playing DA:I half way through to play Witcher 3, and it's far better in every way.

i struggle with enemies in groups of 10, just got absolutely bucked all owa the map by 10 drowners, piece of piss in smaller groups, in larger congregations theres too mucch going on, even backing aat doesnt do much, died 4 times in a row here.

Still my first buck since Keira Metz.

Someone tell me how to kill a warewolf :(
make sure you are using the silver sword, my game has some f***ing annoying habit of going into fights with the wrong sword out or unarmed, happened more than once now

120 hours in @ L25 and I've just got back to Kaer Morhen with the main questline (been doing all the side quests and a load of ?). I have to say, Yen is a right snobby bitch. Good for a ploughing, but holy hell she'd be murder to live with.
