Peanut butter

I find it quite hard to eat peanut butter just with toast, especially the myprotein stuff I find it too dry. Absolute heaven with banana slices tho and sometimes I have it with scrambled eggs on toast.

Used to make protein bars with it. Melt peanut butter then add oats, chocolate protein powder, flaxseed, raisins and a bit milk to bind, press into a tin and refrigerate, lovely.

Peanut butter is awesome, Great to get your healthy fats up in your diet. Tastes unreal.

"It has protein as well as potassium, which lowers the risk of high blood pressure, stroke and heart disease. It also contains fiber for your bowel health, healthy fats, magnesium to fortify your bones and muscles, Vitamin E and antioxidants"

Looking at how I can increase my protein intake I've bought some wholemeal peanut butter:

Per 100g

Protein: 25.9g
Carbs: 9.9g
Fat: 51.7g
Kcal: 626

There can't be any better combinations of food than sliced banana and peanut butter on toast.

The only danger with it is that it's obvious benefits are only good in small amounts. It's ridiculously easy to keep keep dipping ya finger in and scooping 200 calories worth out every time ya open the cupboard!

I'm considering getting some of the Meridian stuff after this thread. However, I prefer the taste of almonds to peanuts; are the benefits of eating both very similar or is peanut the better choice?

You want to have a look at supersesh's physique seeing as he is a big fan of it and possibly reconsider your opinion...

Aye, but he prob has a little bit at 23:33 each evening exactly 3.2 hours after 8 boiled eggs 9with the yolks removed by a ninja) and thats it (and trains his arse off 8 times a day)

Spoon it in to individual cake cases. Stick on a thin(ish) layer of melted chocolate mixed with a scoop of chocolate whey powder and stick em in the fridge for a post workout treat.

Avoid cheap PB as some are laced with trans fats.
