Players that have ended player's careers

I think all footballers should have to take a course on tackling and injuries in order to get a license to play football, and if they commit foul like some of the disgusting stuff Keane dished out, they should have their license removed from them.

wtf - Keane was not a dirty player by any means, he was a great tackler. Probably only Vieira came close to him.

Any signs of a scrap breaking out he was first in the queue but thats a different issue.

I think the especially big and powerful players should all be euthanised when they turn thirty. They are more likely to cause injuries when they lose a bit of pace and make late tackles.

He was a great tackler when he wanted to be, but he also had a habit of maliciously fouling players. When you get something like the Haaland incident, he should have been stopped from playing football until he took a remedial course in the basics of what is a challenge and what is an assault.

Sunderland's Tom Finney nearly booted the head off Charlton's keeper's head (Graham Tutt iirc).

Don't think the poor sod played again - Sunderland played at Charlton in his testimonial match a year or so later

There are many players that have ended or severely damaged other player's careers with bad challenges. I am looking for The player that fouled, who they fouled, and the competition and level of importance of the game.

I will start with Andy Cole, destroying the promising Australian defender Simon Colosimo's knee on a completely pointless tour of Australia in 1999.

Any others?

shocking tackle but it didn't end his career. he was back playing after a year and had an OK career and finished up 2 seasons ago.

Julio Arca is our friend, is our friend, is our friend, Julio Arca is our friend, he fucked Shearer

fucked the bastard with his studs, with his studs, with his studs, fucked the bastard with his studs, he fucked Shearer

Never kick a ball again, ball again, ball again, never kick a ball again, he fucked Shearer

Sorry if seb

Chris Harker, Bury goalkeeper, effectively ended Brian Clough's playing career.

He was a dirty s*d who knew exactly what he was doing and had done it on more than one other occasion (2 or 3 times iirc), with similar results, before he did it to Cloughie.

Lee Sharpe ended that young left backs career before it even started williams was it ?
Deystroyed his spirit in 45 minutes

Played for Man City (albeit only a handful of games) after the injury didn't he?

Can't remember his name but the twat that ruined Craig Gordon's career for us. I better not see him in a Sunderland shirt, even if he could score past the mags the dirty git!

Thank you for that valuable contribution to this thread. By the way, do you have as your avatar a picture of a well known child with learning disabilities to rip the piss out of them? Is it a game of pointing at those less fortunate than yourself so that you can laugh at them? Because if you do, I hate you.

Thanks for that
