Just started a career as a safc, never played career mode as I play online most of the time. Are they any gems to buy so far I got Sam Bryam and Ambrose from Celtic pretty good and also corea from athletico Madrid he is class
 


There are some players with a potential glitch which means they never get better and I think Byram is one of them. I always by Gaya from Valencia at left back and Hector Villalba.
 
Started a new Sunderland game, signed Virgil Van Dijk for 5.5mil, scored two on his debut. Eric Dier on loan but Spurs wouldn't let me have a buy option in the deal, both quality and cheap young Centre Halves. Paid 7mil for Aleksandar Mitrovic from Anderlecht, 74 rating now 75, scored 2 goals in 10 sub appearances which is good IMO, he's only 20.

There are some gems in Holland, Feyenoord have a couple of class young wingers as well as Jordy Clasie in the midfield. Closer to home I'd recommend snapping up Will Hughes from Derby, I sold him to Man Utd for £50m after about four years on one of my old saves.
 
Anyone know any decent affordable free-kick and penalty takers? Seb doesn't get a game for me.

started a game the other day. put a scout out to find people with 0-12 months on their contract. From just signing free transfers, in january for them to join in the summer, im into my 3rd season and my squad is quality.

some players on daft wages like Gotze (180k), Lucas (140k) and Hernadez (105k) but got money free'd up from getting a load of frees.
Traore is a younster from Chelsea that i bought for 6million. 21 year old now and fast as fuck. been offered 32mil from Barca for him but think he is going to reach top end 80's/90.
Van Beek is class anarl, payed 2.5mil for him and progressed loads.
going to get a new keeper this jan as i believe there is a few good ones up for grabs for nout

not the most realistic way to play, but you can assemble an unreal sqaud
 
First season I had Pantillimon Clyne O'Shea Bruma PVA-------Cattermole Wanyama------Schone (RW) Johnson (LW)------Defoe Dost. Did quite well, but got bored and went to Monaco, which I regret now:lol:
 
I signed van dijk on mine and then clyne, and the was literally all my funds gone, loads other areas I want to strengthen but now can't, anyone tried requesting funds before? Worth a go or not?
 
Started a Bradford one not long ago, and as they often do - they are in the finals of the cup (semi final of COC) - got them top of the league too

Signed a bunch of veterans on bosmans that killed my wage budget (adjusting budget is a lot more difficult in league one than prem); Arce (ST), Cueva (RW/AM), Dyakov (CM/DM) & Prochazka (CB).

Started off shit with most games being 2-2 draws or 3-2 either way playing the narrow diamond, switched to 4-2-4 and I'm now bossing it, 10 wins in last 11 league games; other being a draw away to Preston

Reckon I can win the league and get to the final of the COC (Stoke in semi's - already beaten West Brom, Crystal Palace & Southampton; all away too). So reckon it's winnable

Never work for me. Check my post. Send a scout out finding first team player with 0-12 month contracts. Get some class players for nout

That's my team half way through season two. Finished 7th in my first year playing on legendary, still managed to qualify for the Europa League somehow. I've struggled in Europe though, doesn't look like I am going to make it out of the group. Hovering around 7th or 8th in the league again but the board want 5th so I reckon I might get sacked unless I improve.

Sold a 33 year old Jermain Defoe to Stoke for £12m in the Summer. :lol:
 
Halfway through season two, 3rd in the league. Just offered contracts to Phil Jones and David De Gea as they only have six months remaining on their current Man Utd deals. Will be f***ing class if I get them both for nowt. :lol:
 
If you want a decent cheap player for lower-ish leagues, get David Goodwillie in. Not only has he got a slightly amusing surname, but he's also as fast as fuck.

Could do with a better left back like, and despite his rating, my keeper is shite. My backup squad mainly consists of 70-80 rated youth players from my youth academy.
