yet again i didnt say that. i said dont buy tickets. by the way, its very easy now of course but i didnt see any mention of this from yourself at 30 for 4
Why would people not need to buy tickets unless you really think we would be beaten inside 3 days? And I've maintained all along we would win this series. Still think we will. Being 30/4 didn't change that opinion.

Have seen very little cricket today, just catching up on channel 5.

Great stuff from Stokes, Cook and Root. Very worrying from Bell and Ballance though. If only we had a number 3 or 4 waiting in the wings ;)
Borthwicks time will come soon.

i will make this clear. buy tickets but days 4 and 5 may result in no play.

as i said in the initial post, atrocious batting, losing to a windies team, universally recognised as one of the worst they have ever had, i dont think it was unreasonable to expect nz 3rd ranked and aus 1ranked to beat england playing like that. look at i said we would be three down, thats happened. i said a top four of cook trott ballance and bell would fail. thats changed. why are you so aggresively continuing with this?

Because it was such a ridiculous bit of flouncing by yourself in an attempt to be a drama queen. And it's been shown up already.

Good time to watch the highlights about now I think and then The Verdict after, I wonder what Bob says after criticising Stokes yesterday.....

still 3 great innings we saw today, all different and all very good indeed.

indeed a fantastic batting performance and in the style needed when the aussies are here, to give us a chance of winning.

bumbles "haway the lad" when he got the ton was canny. amazing to think that he has scored the fastest ever ton in a test at lords, when you consider the amount of tests played

295 lead cook brilliant 153, could we see a declaration, if we bat for an hour on monday?

Both teams slogging it out on a complete road. Turned into a good game and I'm delighted for Stokes and Cook.

It wasn't a road this morning, Southee and Boult were turning it around corners. Can't say in the afternoon, it disappeared off the bat too quick ... :)

Seriously, it was doing enough, you got to hand it to Cook and Root.

Right then lads, predictions for today?

England bat for an hour this morning, lead of 370/380 - bow New Zealand out half way through the final session, job's a good'un.

Agree completely. But back on planet earth, we'll bat too long and not give ourselves enough time.

It would take an exceptional bowling performance to win this from here, time and the pitch are in New Zealand's favour.

Draw for me.

This. Also, no way Cook will set an aggressive declaration with batsmen like McCullum, Guptill and Anderson who can slog 50 in 25 balls.

Best thing for this game would be for us to get bowled out in about 45 minutes having added about 60 runs.

If it's left in Cook's hands we'll bat for too long and hope for a miracle from our bowlers.
