Me and the Mrs are planning Sunday lunch in roker tomorrow, she's saying the queen vic but I'm unsure, anyone recommend the queen vic or anywhere better?

Had a roast dinner in the queen vic on Thursday and it was shocking .

We were there last week, I was really disappointed. There was a private function in what I supposed was the restaurant or whatever they call that area so we sat in the bar which was fine cos we watched the footy. Our dinner when it came was cold. The sprouts and carrots were frozen and tasted watery and the meat looked like thinly sliced sandwich meat rather than being carved from a joint. I'm assuming it's not usually like that and we just hit a bad day as I've heard lots of people recommend the place.

Her choice mate she's planning a Sunday dinner in roker then a walk down the front. She's guna be shocked when a turn round after me bait n say home for 3pm flower for the footy!!

howld on here you started a thread 'sunday lunch',,then you've changed to sunday dinner when Lord Grassmere mentioned dinner in post 2. make your mind up ffs

Upstairs to the harbour view is nice, views across the river are to die for.

Looked to be serving Sunday dinners in Let there be Crumbs a couple of weeks back when I was last in. I was having afternoon tea though so can't vouch for their quality.
