They've finally cottoned on

Can't be arsed to read that but have they mentioned how the fans that are the big problem? Constantly protesting because they aren't in the Champions League because they bought in to the Mag propaganda of the 90s. It can't be easy playing in front of 62000 protesting Jawdees every home and away game.

To be quite honest, the supporters have been saying all of that for over a year now. That is why there is so much unrest. The club is absolutely dire from top to bottom and the supporters have done everything to highlight that fact.

In a way, Sunderland supporters might do well to take a leaf out of their book. Unfortunately they mostly have the memory of a guppy and with one win they forget all the angst until the next game when Sunderland lose yet again.

The day they wake up and recognise that exactly the same process is happening at Sunderland as is happening at Newcastle will be a very good day, in my opinion. Blindly supporting a team until their luck runs out and they drop into the Championship is not a positive. I would prefer to see the supporters kicking and screaming and fighting all the way in the same way Newcastle supporters have done but have been ignored by everyone from the club.

Sunderlands fans should recognise that yet again we have barely avoided relegation. Nothing of substance has changed and there is nothing that offers me any hope that the club won't find itself sitting in the relegation next season.

The fans just want them to win a game. That's not too much to ask, is it?

That's not really true though is it? They were winning games under Bobby Robson, hounded him out. Pardew had the winning games as well, hounded him out.

Newcastle don't just want to win games, they want to compete for trophies, sign world class players, have a mythical world class Geordie manager in charge. By all means everyone wants to win trophies and sign the best players but given Newcastle's history it's pie in the sky. They've bought in to the propaganda of the 90s with 'the entertainers' tag and being everyone's second team, when realistically everybody hates them because of the fans. The self entitled best fans in the league got rid of a manager who had them comfortably mid table, and got their beloved Geordie in charge and it's bit them on their pie munching arses and the whole nation is loving it.

I still don't think they have cottoned on, 'don't fuck with Mike Ashley, he has money to burn and will crush you if he fancies'. I absolutely despise the bloke BTW.

Les Ferdinand : " Geordies aren’t any different to other supporters"

that wont go down well

Hilarious. You can argue that we shouldn't laugh, but fuck them. I've seen us in worse states and they took great delight in out plight at the time.

Every neutral in my mess onboard was basically saying they hope the Mags go down. That paints a picture of their club and how they are perceived.

Who the fuck are you, prick?

Do Newcastle fans have unrealistically high expectations?

MQ
Maybe in the past, yes, but all they want at the moment is a team that tries to win a cup competition. In fact, all they want now is a team that can win a game. That’s really not too much to ask is it? Their expectations could not be any lower about their football club at the moment and that’s the saddest thing of all. I’ve never known the club be on its knees like this. I’ve never known the fans as low as they are now. It’s a soulless football club and the fans have had their hopes and dreams kicked out of them.

:eek::eek::eek::lol:

The fans have been spitting their dummies out for years and they're finally getting what they deserve IMO.

They've created a toxic atmosphere at home and away and it's no wonder that the players are terrified to play for them.

They think that all these protests make them out to be mega loyal but it just goes to show them as ridiculous brats (at best).

Any other club I would have sympathy. The fat cockney is indeed a nasty malignancy at their club intent on f***ing them up for past misdemeanours. I would hate someone like that at our club - he has no place in football.

However after having lived in Newcastle for 20 years, and taking all the shite I've taken, I hope they f***ing rot

Staggering how you've fit so much drivel into three lines. My cliché bingo card has exploded.

A well run club in terms of finance.

Ashley could easily have spent money on a half decent manager and kept them up with ease. Bizarre that he didn't
