I'm not certain there are any or enough differences between any of them, though. To me, they have all lost credibility by over focussing on denigrating the other parties. Their supporters are resorting to social media snipes, funny captions and talentless "celebrities" to buoy them up. As we stand, I cannot take any of them seriously, I want to use my vote, but not a clue which way to direct it.

It's a good job there's not anything important at stake.
I am lucky to be insulated from the worst things they've implemented so far. However, I do know some people who have been badly affected. As i care about people and have had my brushes with relative poverty in my young days, i have to vote with my conscience and that cannot be tory. I still bare the scars of unemployment in the 1980s and it was acdevastaing experience so it's no surprise who I vote for.

And that's your right and your choice.

What a f***ing shit tip of a paper that rag is. Thank God the printed press is dying and Murdoch hasn't found a way to save it.
Aye let's celebrate the death of one of the most important checks and balances of society, helping to keep the bastard honest.

You're correct, it is a shame that the parties have spent more time focusing on each others flaws rather than promoting their own policeis. If you are truly undecided who to vote for based on what you've heard. Like millions of others, I suppose the only way to choose is to evaluate your economic/financial standing/lifestyle at the moment and vote accordingly. Good luck.

That front page sums up the whole election campaign for me. A massively negative embarrassment. I actually think Miliband has really tried to rise above it more than the others but I just don't think he has a strong or clear message to put across.

This. I had actually to decided to support the local Tory MP who I think has done a good job for his constituents but all of this negative campaigning is really making me question that. Especially if it comes down to a one seat difference in Parliament.

That front page should be met with all the derision it deserves.

1 day to go. YouGov has Tories and Labour neck and neck, predicting Labour to win slightly more seats, but anyone wanting to form a government is likely to need the support of two other parties.

My local councillor is Labour and she has done a great job and her campaign has been positive and refreshing. She's a shoe in and deserves it. Nationally I think they're all over the place and are offering nothing more than soundbites and sticking plaster solutions. Balls as Chancellor and a strong anti-Union influence just make me want the same coalition again.

While I disagree on the politics I'm really feeling that local / national tussle at the minute. In your situation you just have to go with your gut and conscience.

why oh why has he gone and done this? if I was a labour party donor I'd ask for my money back I think.

If he loses (which is not unlikely) I am going to try and buy it. I have a few bits of mad sculpture in the garden. That will fit in well.....

After 1992 I could have had a load of Neil Kinnock Prime Minister mugs as a job lot. Always regretted not buying them.

I get what you mean but there is a designated member of parliament to deal with issues in your area and that is their brief, there are only a certain number of cabinet, ministerial, and select committee appointments available meaning you're going to have backbenchers with time to devote to their constituency.

If a local area is not represented, what is to stop nobody taking action in that area? Likewise if an area is not represented whats to stop over representation of that area?

I think that we will end up with 2 chambers - one of which will have members who do the politics - the other will have members who look after the case work issues
