Can you get to stokness? That beach, just remarkable

Forget gulfoss and skogafoss, we've seen too much of them

Godafoss, now there's something. Iced up at the moment with 20 foot icicles

Then there's kirkufell. I guess we'll have seen enough of that sooner or later, but still a good subject

I'll try to remember them! we've got a 4x4 booked and will be travelling about a bit. Stopping at a hotel by a lake just outside of Reykjavik http://kriunes.is/ Was hoping to get to see the volcano at bardabunga (sp?) its still gushing lava but not sure how close we are allowed to get.

Trouble is these places are more than a day trip. Kirkufell is north west though, do that in a day I'm sure. Godafoss is well north, stokness is south west coast.

Go to vik, within reach . If you make it as far as jokulskarlon go to the beach to find ice on the black sand

A lot of what we want to do will be dependant on roads and weather, we have a lot of stars on the map anyway :) we've never been before so it's all new to us :)

Theres a few more in the album on flickr

Just want to say UPS are all winkers, lost the 14mm Samyang I ordered for this trip, could have done with the extra view for some of the aurora shots as it covered almost all of the sky at one point. I was lying in the snow watching it - the only way to see it all!

Awesome shot!

Was meant to be shooting Ultra Music Festival this weekend. I got so much rained on the camera last yesterday that it started malfunctioning. Weird menu screens coming up etc. Trying to dry it off now and hoping for the best today.

The lake district, can't wait to get up on the tops and snap some pics. Just got a new backpack but need a waterproof cover.
