He's finished, just listened to his interview. f***ing pathetic, what a knob. That arsehole who described him a the greatest coach of his generation should never be let near any level of cricket ever again. What an embarrassment.
 
He is the David Moyes of cricket, good at a certain level but too negative and out of his depth at international level. Needs to go

watching his interview, he gave no impression at all, that he expected to be out of a job. this england club is so far out of touch with the support, its hard to believe.

it would not surprise me that the team that has just lost to the 8th ranked team, inside three days, starts v new zealand

It's more the fact he got the job based on not a lot. Is he the best coach the ECB could hire? Surely not......

He was an absolutely class captain, one of our best ever, and is perfect for the job, if he had a different accent...

Vaughan was a much better captain than Strauss mind.
Strauss had a better core of players to work with and the Aussies were probably at their weakest during his time as well.
A decent enough captain but again was over cautious for me.
