Nick Griffin supports UKIP

It's a democracy and people can vote for whoever they want to. The fact that it doesn't meet with some people's approval is neither here nor there. To insult people because they don't think/vote the same way as you is silly. No-one needs to justify their politics to anyone on here.

Well said you smelly old fart

Bit harsh on @Liverpool Beachball that like :eek:

Fuck off back to the City you nasty banker

Ha ha ha, I'm not backsliding in the slightest. The first statement on this particular issue I did indeed say 'in the main' but since then I have said 'not at all' too. What of it? I think you need to take some of these things with a pinch of salt you know and not micro-analyse every little word!

All the while, the issue still remains in that UKIP have MEPs to oppose the EU, not agree with it. You can't complain that much though - the country did vote them in.

All the time. But you know, that's just the way it is with a new party like this. I get the anger over UKIP, I really do. I usually put my head in my hands whenever I read a headline like this. And yes, it does happen an awful lot to us I won't deny that.

Yes, we have a lot more people within the party who come out with these rants than anyone else. But it will die down as the party grows and moves on. To be fair, when members come out with tripe that that, the party moves pretty swiftly to expel them or at the very least seriously reprimand them.

But UKIP is an idea - not individuals. Individuals come and go, but the idea of UKIP will just evolve...
You said we. You previously said you had no UKIP affiliation. Now it's we. Care to explain?

Sorry @Liverpool Beachball

Didn't you tell us in the shipbuilding thread you had no affiliation with UKIP?

Please never darken the board again.

I'm a UKIP member - of course I am and I said that right from the off!

You had me down as some sort of senior party spokesman or the like - which I'm not. I'm still just an ordinary member...

No I didn't as I have Google and you published your name.

I asked what your motive was and I haven't changed my opinion. I think your a disingenuous, insidious vote gatherer with cheap words. Doing wonders for UKIP.

As you were.

Ah ok - I get you now. My girlfriend points out the very same thing to me as well. I sometimes use 'we' rather than say 'UKIP' or 'the party' but only because I am a member/supporter of the party, not because I am in the inner circle or anything.

It'd be like you discussing the match with your mates and saying 'we were robbed - should've been a penalty but the ref left his eyes at home...' or something like that. But I wouldn't expect many people to think that means you play for the club or are involved in its management...

No, no it isn't.

I am wondering why you suddenly turned up as a marine engineer from Southampton knowing full well why Sunderland is about 52nd in line to reopen the yards about 6 weeks before the election suggesting that opening Pallion is suddenly viable.

You'll excuse my suspicion of course. I'm sure you see why. Maybe you have Sunderlands best interests at heart and not Portsmouth s?

I've always found that as soon as you start putting facts in front of UKIP supporters the whole edifice just crumbles like a house of cards as they try harder and harder to justify everything that UKIP have come out with.
Really lets have a fact then?

TBF mate it wasnt ROO who first brought up his Shipbuilding thing on the SMB it was someone else. He joined after how he found out this board were discussing it is another thing?

Read every link with every assertion I've made to back that assertion up in this and any other UKIP related thread/post.

Crack on then mate lets hear your "facts" ive already swatted someone today who thinks he deals in "facts" care to share yours?

Apart from the fact that The Express, a major news outlet with high circulation donated £1m to UKIP and publishes UKIP stories daily

UKIP are always in the news, if any party should be aggrieved at a lack of coverage it's the LDs
If you think UKIP get anywhere near the coverage of Labour and Tory in the press or TV you are deluded mate. Saying that on here its disproportionate!

@AB22 Easy Tiger posted the link originally. @Roo followed up with 2 threads.

I can understand @AB22 Easy Tiger posting it. Not @Roo

Why would he do that?
Maybe he googled it and saw it on here?

It's probably proportionate. Being the biggest parties and that

And then did what? He's electioneering man. Which is fine. To deny it is shit though.

Yes im sure it is ive no objection to that but to say UKIP get loads of coverage compared to them is simply wrong.

I'll echo @monkeytassle's comments in that UKIP are getting ~13% of the vote and are a minor party in comparison to the Tories and Labour
I agree again UKIP get no where near the coverage of Labour and Tory
