To be fair to Hutchinson he has been superb since he joined the club.
And remember he started as a bar manager at the club, he's worked his way up from the bottom.

He's good pals with a few of the younger lads I know, grew up with them all. Apparently he's a spot on lad anarl.

Can't believe he would get a mention on a thread slagging the running of the club to be honest!

Poyet is is to blame for 90% of our troubles....not any of those 3 mentioned.

That knacker and his shit signings and negative tactics are the reason we are in this mess.

Our squad is much better than Leicester, burnley, palace,WBA and QPR on paper and we are still in the bottom 3.

I'm not saying short is a perfect owner/chairman but this is Poyet's doing.

Their job is to ensure the commercial success of the club. After 8 successive seasons in the world's richest league, we're still making a massive loss.

Everyone running our club is doing a shite job.

Due to the football relate costs which eat up all of the available monies.................GH isn't in control of the wage bill of the club.......

I do agree mind that his side of things has to evolve though as the Filth make more on that side of things than we do..

From the outside looking in they're struggling and the books would appear to back this up. The club seems to be losing where its priorities are. I'm sure the holidays to Tanzania are lovely and having One Direction come to town and play a sold out gig in a Stadium which is starting to look as run down as the Football team is great but the long and short of it is that as a Football club we are absolute dog shite with a reputation in the league which is far from enviable.

I wish they'd get someone in with a track record of helping turn clubs around. For all his failings towards the end of his days at Man City, Gary Cooke did an unreal job, he did it at Nike and now he is doing it for the UFC. Ellis should be getting him or someone of the ilk in to help sort that shower of shite in the board room out before it goes tits up on a grand scale.

As has been said commercially we're also doing shite. Which will impact the footballing side.
No we aint..........hes done a very good job with things like the concerts but there scope for improvement.......

I suspect you haven't a Scooby given your original post .........

He joined in 2011 as Commercial Director.

2012 - £26.9m loss
2013 - £13m loss
2014 - £17m loss

As "superb" as Tesco.
So hes now responsible for the wage bill and the transfer spend then as well................

I hope he knows.......

In fairness how much of those losses are down to us signing shit players.

Say we make £5million from putting on a One Direction concert, but then spunk £10million on a shit centre midfielder its hardly the fault of the guy in charge of the commercial side is it.

More the other way round, the football will impact more on the commercial side. Something I often wonder whether Safc realise
Heston Blumenthal couldn't get folk in for a scran if they knew they had to watch the match afterwards.........

So the wise old SMB are now suggesting that Gary Hutchinson, the man responsible for sponsorships and concerts, with absolutely no footballing responsibilities, is to blame.

Jesus f***ing Christ

Got a daft haircut like, it's no wonder we can never get U2 at the sol they wont take us seriously with a scruff in charge .

this.

The lack of an identity and an individual out front leading the club towards that identity is a major problem....the club seems cut adrift with no one at the helm..from a recruitment system to a style of play, all due to the lack of upper leadership at the club.....imo.

Three non football people, running a football club. I'm sure Byrne & Hutchinson are doing their best, but the pair of them have no past experience at football clubs? Not enough to have as big a say as they do anyhow.

As for Short, the blokes bank rolling the club and we're still making a loss. He needs to be surrounded with football people, people who can advise him on things such as the DoF position and more importantly appointing the right man to succeed Advocaat.

No matter what happens in the last 5 games, the club is yet again in need of massive rebuilding over the summer.
Try blaming managers n players, other clubs have managed to stay out of trouble without spending much.
